AMMAN — The president of the Petra Development and Tourism Authority, Suleiman Farajat, revealed that the Petra hot air balloon project
will be officially launched next Wednesday, and has received all approvals,
reports Hala News.
The balloon will be located near the archaeological reserve
and aims to increase tourist entertainment activities in Petra, and will
represent a planned leap in the level and nature of services, events, and
activities available in the Wadi Musa area, he added. All with the aim of
providing greater variety to extend the stay of tourists in the area.
