National Aid fund disperses cash assistance

AMMAN — The National Aid Fund on Tuesday disbursed cash to about 74,000 families that are benefiting from the temporary cash support program Takaful 3.اضافة اعلان

This is the first group of the fourth batch of families to receive cash assistance. The second group of the fourth batch will receive cash at the end of this month, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The acting director general of the fund and secretary general of the Ministry of Social Development, Barq Al-Damour, told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the fund sent text messages this morning to all of the families that received cash support notifying them of the transfer.

He added that the first batch of support was disbursed in February, and that the Takaful 3 program will continue until the end of this year.

Damour said that that the total number of beneficiary families is estimated at 160,000.
