National Trade Window a key reform leap — Jaghbir

AMMAN — President of the Jordan and Amman chambers of industry Fathi Jaghbir said Saturday that the National Trade Window to facilitate investments and improve the business environment is a key reform leap, that ensures a better flow of goods and cuts red tape and costs according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

He said after a meeting with Customs Department Director General Maj. Gen. Jalal Qudah that, the trade facilitation window had helped to reduce the time for clearance and boost the competitiveness of sectors, according to a press statement.

The industrial sector, Jaghbir pointed out, had called for creating a unified platform for clearance to keep the pace and level of imports and exports.

The single window for trade effectively carries out the logistical measures of the Customs Department and other entities on clearance and export more efficiently, which reduces release times and import costs,  he said.
