$5.3 Billion in Tourism Revenue During the First Eight Months of 2025

Preliminary data released by the Central Bank indicate that tourism revenue in August 2025 rose by 2.6% to reach $932.2 million, compared to a decline of 0.3% during the same month last year.اضافة اعلان

Tourism revenue increased by 7.5% during the first eight months of 2025, reaching $5,330.4 million, compared to a 3.7% decrease during the same period last year, driven by a 14.9% rise in the number of tourists.

The data show growth in tourism revenue from Asian (38.4%), European (30.2%), American (18.6%), Arab (5.5%), and other nationalities (34.0%), while tourism revenue from Jordanians living abroad decreased by 1.3%.

The data also show an increase in outbound tourism spending during the first eight months of 2025 by 4.0%, reaching $1,443.9 million, with August 2025 recording a 4.5% rise to $196.8 million.
