Around a half million tonnes, amounting to some 10,000 barrels will be transported daily to the Kingdom, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

A memorandum of understanding previously signed between Jordan and Iraq stated that crude oil will be imported from Kirkuk to serve the Kingdom’s annual needs. The amount agreed upon will make up about 7 percent of the Kingdom’s needs, according to Petra.
