Global Oil Prices Rise

Oil prices saw an increase during early Asian trading on Wednesday, recovering slightly after experiencing their steepest two-day drop since 2022.

According to Bloomberg News, Brent crude futures rose by 75 cents, or 1.1%, reaching $67.89 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude climbed 71 cents, or 1.1%, to $65.08 per barrel.

Investors are now awaiting official U.S. government data on domestic crude and fuel inventories, expected later today. Market sources, citing data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) released Tuesday, reported that U.S. crude stocks fell by approximately 4.23 million barrels in the week ending June 20.
