The exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) rose by 3.1% during the first two months of the current year compared to the same period in 2025. Exports reached approximately 1.137 billion JOD, up from 1.103 billion JOD during the corresponding period last year.

Sectoral Performance
Seven industrial sectors recorded export growth, with the Therapeutic and Medical Industries leading the surge at 54.7%. In contrast:
Engineering Industries: Dropped by 34.3%.
Textiles and Garments: Declined by 3.1%.
Plastic Industries: Slipped by 0.5%.
Geographic Distribution and Key Markets
Four major markets (India, the USA, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq) accounted for the majority of the Chamber’s exports, totaling 565 million JOD.
Iraq: Exports rose by 2.3% to 153 million JOD.
Saudi Arabia: Increased by 1.6% to reach 137 million JOD.
Palestine: Witnessed a massive jump of 85%, reaching 54 million JOD.
Syria: Grew by 12% to 49 million JOD.
United States: Declined by 26.4% to 147 million JOD.
India: Fell by 18.7% to 128 million JOD.
Exports by Region:
Arab Countries: Ranked first at 598 million JOD.
Non-Arab Asian Countries: 246 million JOD.
North America: 155 million JOD.
European Union: 70 million JOD.

Mining Industries: 242 million JOD.
Chemicals and Cosmetics: 227 million JOD.
Food, Agriculture, and Livestock: 189 million JOD.
Engineering, Electrical, and IT: 125 million JOD.
Therapeutic and Medical Supplies: 111 million JOD.
Leather and Textiles: 91 million JOD.
Packaging, Paper, and Stationery: 46 million JOD.
