Amman Stock Exchange Records Trading Volume of JD 14.7 Million

The total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange on Tuesday reached JD 14.7 million, with 4.7 million shares traded through 4,671 transactions.

The general price index closed at 3,611 points, marking an increase of 1.09 percent. The services sector index rose by 2.79 percent, the financial sector by 0.51 percent, and the industrial sector by 0.33 percent.

Comparing the closing prices of the 111 companies traded during the session with their previous closings, 39 companies recorded gains in their share prices, while 36 companies saw declines.
