AMMAN — Minister of Labor Nayef Steitieh said Saturday that some 21,000 young people have registered for the National Employment Program, but only 13,000 of them gave complete data, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The minister said that HRH Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah had focused on the process of integrating technology into vocational training in all sectors, adding that at the end of October, the ministry will have 11 operators in all governorates that rely entirely on virtual technology.

In the coming week, the ministry will start providing VR headsets in all governorates and villages, to introduce professions using virtual technology to encourage young people to undergo virtual training.

The ministry will also work and for the first time, using media campaigns that include virtual technology to familiarize youths with occupations in all sectors, starting with 10 sectors.

The minister mentioned a study related to the private sector, which showed that 78 percent of private companies give priority to youths who know how to communicate, show respect for and commitment to work, and have technical skills, regardless of their certificates.  اضافة اعلان
