14 bidders interested in digitalization project

AMMAN – A total of 14 local and international specialized institutions have expressed interest in implementing the digitalization project of government payments, a source said on Saturday. اضافة اعلان

The period for receiving applications of expression of interest have ended almost a week ago, the source pointed out, adding that stakeholders are now assessing applications prior to sending tender documents. Five to eight companies will be short-listed.

Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmad Hanandeh has previously expected embarking on the project during the third quarter of the year, noting that the government would need up to four months to receive expressions of interest, evaluating these applications and developing a tender according to international standards and referring the tender.
