Below are the ten Iranian points in the proposed plan to end the war on Iran, following the announcement by Washington and Tehran of a two-week ceasefire:
1. The United States must, in principle, commit to guaranteeing non-aggression.
2. Iran maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz.
3. Acceptance of uranium enrichment.
4. Lifting all primary sanctions.
5. Lifting all secondary sanctions.
6. Terminating all United Nations Security Council resolutions.
7. Ending all resolutions of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
8. Payment of compensation to Iran.
9. Withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from the region.
10. Ending the war on all fronts, including against the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.
Trump, by accepting these conditions as a basis for negotiations, has stepped back from his previous threats and escalating rhetoric. – (Agencies)
