CENTCOM: Over 9,000 Iranian Targets Struck, 140 Vessels Destroyed
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that since the beginning of the war with Iran, U.S. forces have conducted strikes against more than 9,000 targets inside Iran. These targets included command centers, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) facilities, and missile launch sites.

CENTCOM added that it has also successfully destroyed more than 140 Iranian vessels as part of ongoing military operations against Tehran.
Israel and the United States have been launching airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28—an offensive that resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has retaliated by striking Israel and other regional countries with missiles and drones.

Diplomatic Maneuvers and Conflicting Reports
U.S. President Donald Trump affirmed on Monday that matters are "moving along very well" regarding Iran. His comments followed an announcement of talks with Tehran and the postponement of threatened strikes on its electrical power generation facilities.

While the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, denied that any negotiations with the U.S. were taking place, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated it had received "messages from friendly nations" regarding a U.S. request for talks.

Netanyahu’s Stance
For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated Monday evening that he had spoken with Trump, who "believes there is an opportunity to leverage the immense successes [of the Israeli and U.S. militaries] to achieve war objectives within a framework that protects our vital interests."
