‘Yalla Netfaslaf’ philosophical initiative launches at UJ

AMMAN  — An initiative by the University of Jordan students, named “Yalla Netfaslaf” (let’s be philosophical) launched Sunday with a variety of activities designed to increase awareness on the connection between philosophy, other humanities, and sciences.اضافة اعلان

The initiative also seeks to empower students in developing their philosophical thinking in their education and in life, according to Al-Ghad News.

President of the University of Jordan Nazir Obeidat came up with the initiative, which will run from Sunday till Wednesday and comprises of lectures and activities, commencing with remarks by Obeidat.

The four-day activities will host other speakers from the philosophy department and other faculties, in addition to musical events and cultural competitions.
