Two arrested for allegedly blackmailing man out of JD350k

AMMAN — The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate stated on Tuesday that he received information regarding two suspects — a man and a girl — who allegedly blackmailed a victim and forced him to hand them a large sum of money, according to Al-Ghad news.اضافة اعلان

The directorate followed up on the incident and summoned the victim, who alleged that the suspects stole an estimate of JD350,000 from him.

The suspects were arrested and found with JD205,000, which were seized by the Preventative Security Department, according to the spokesman.

According to Al-Ghad, the department has referred the case to the judiciary.
