Tahatamouni emphasized the importance of adopting a general framework and national policy for sustainable road financing due to the significant costs borne by the government for road development and the inability to provide necessary funding for maintenance or new road construction, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The World Bank team clarified that within the specialized aviation policy development framework, further studies are needed regarding the financial and environmental aspects of the aviation sector.

The delegation also reviewed the measures being implemented in cooperation with the government and the World Bank regarding the evaluation of high-frequency bus feeders to improve service levels for citizens.

At the meeting's conclusion, Tahatamouni praised the ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Transport and the World Bank to achieve sustainable development goals and enhance citizens' quality of life, affirming the ministry's commitment to joint efforts to develop infrastructure and bolster the transportation sector.
