Telecommunications authority advises consumers to check the fine print

AMMAN — The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission on Sunday advised that people thinking about signing up for "mobile, fixed, or internet" connections for the first time to review their subscription contracts.اضافة اعلان

The authority also called on companies to review in detail subscription contracts’ terms and conditions with customers, including prices, fees, taxes, supplements, and commitment periods, before allowing someone to sign or renew a contract.

On its social media page, the authority emphasized the importance of retaining a copy of a contract until the end of the service period, "especially if the service subscription is linked to features, prices, and technologies for specific devices such as high Internet speeds."
