AMMAN — The CEO of the Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Rasmi Hamzeh, said on Thursday, September 14, that the energy efficiency program in Jordanian buildings is of utmost importance, especially residential and public sector buildings, which consume 48 percent of the total electricity consumption in all sectors in Jordan.اضافة اعلان

Korean knowledge exchange programs
This was announced during the final workshop of the knowledge exchange program through the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), on behalf of the Ministry's Secretary-General, in the presence of the Korean Ambassador in Amman Kim Dong-Ji and the senior consultants of the knowledge exchange program.

Hamzeh stressed the importance of following up on the environmental recommendations outlined in the workshops and praised the benefits gained from the knowledge exchange program in learning and sharing experiences from the Korean side during the workshops conducted in both countries to learn about the Korean state's success in the field of energy efficiency, its applications, and management.
