Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al-Thani congratulated the Kingdom on its 76th independence anniversary, and affirmed
the “deep-rooted, historic” relations with Jordan, said the Jordan News Agency,
Petra.
In a video clip aired by Qatar’s embassy online, the
Qatari envoy referred to the “long” decades of partnership between the two
brotherly countries and how they hoped to launch “a new chapter in the
continued bilateral communication, coordination, and cooperation”.
He asserted Qatar’s
support for the Hashemite custodianship over Jerusalem’s holy sites.
