Jordan partakes in Milipol Qatar 2022

AMMAN — Jordan is attending the homeland security and civil defense exhibition, Milipol Qatar 2022, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The event which kicked off on Tuesday morning, under the patronage of the Emir of Qatar, sees Director of the Public Security Department (PSD), Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh, representing Jordan. An annual event which Jordan has always been committed to participating in.

The exhibition, held from May 24 to 26, was opened by Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani. A total of 220 companies representing 22 countries are taking part in the exhibition.

The exhibition’s pavilions showcase many homeland security and civil defense systems and devices produced by different countries. Milipol Qatar 2022 is a great opportunity for experts to look firsthand at the latest products and equipment in this field. Cybersecurity risks will also be discussed during Milipol Qatar by global and local experts, providing a host of possible solutions to mitigate the growing cybersecurity risks.
