Earlier on Sunday morning, Israeli occupation authorities announced the closure of King Hussein Bridge to passengers entering and leaving.
The Palestinian General Administration of Crossings and Borders explained that the Israeli side unexpectedly closed the crossing in both directions.
Although the Palestinian Authority had announced that the crossing would operate today, the Israeli side closed it. Travelers were advised to monitor the authority’s official platforms for any updates.
It is worth noting that last Thursday, the occupation authorities prevented buses coming from Jordan to the West Bank from reaching the Palestinian side and tightened military measures in the area. – (WAFA)
