Private hospitals will not practice forensic medicine

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health dismissed reports that it intends to allow forensic medicine to be practiced in private hospitals, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

In a press release issued on Sunday, the ministry asserted that the practice of forensic medicine will continue to be under its jurisdiction, and will not be assigned to the private sector.

The ministry urged the public to get accurate information from its official sources within the ministry, and to refrain from misinterpreting or otherwise distorting the content of its official correspondences.

The ministry said that media outlets and social media reports regarding plans to allow private hospitals to issue forensic court reports are false.
