“Parliamentary Finance Committee” Continues Budget Discussions, Expected to Conclude on Sunday

The Parliamentary Finance Committee continued on Thursday its agenda to discuss the draft general budget law for the 2026 fiscal year.

The committee is reviewing the budgets of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, and its affiliated departments.اضافة اعلان

Committee Chairman Nemer Al-Salihat stated that discussions on the 2026 general budget with ministries, institutions, and government units will continue on Sunday, December 7.

He added that the committee will present its recommendations on the budget in a plenary session on Monday, December 8, to open the floor for parliamentary debate.

Al-Salihat expected that the committee’s discussions and voting on the budget would conclude on Thursday, December 11.
