In a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Monday, Shunaikat explained that emergency assistance is provided as a one-time grant depending on the exceptional circumstance faced by the family. These include cases such as the death of the family breadwinner or a member, imprisonment of the breadwinner, loss of income due to accident or illness, house fires, tribal displacement (“jalwa”), or academic excellence of beneficiaries’ children who achieve an average of 90% or higher.

She added that the service is available through the Fund’s electronic platform, noting that the Fund’s offices across the Kingdom will remain open to assist families unable to use technology or fill out applications online. –(Petra)
