AMMAN — The National Aid Fund (NAF) in Jordan has announced the inclusion of 4,600 new households in its unified cash assistance program, after meeting the targeting conditions, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. اضافة اعلان

These families were selected out of the 6,000 households that were visited during the holy month of Ramadan.

Allocations to the new beneficiaries will be given by the end of April, according to NAF Director General Khitam Shneikat.

The NAF's unified cash assistance program now benefits 120,000 families.

Monthly e-survey to determine the poorest families
Shneikat explained that the NAF conducts a monthly electronic survey to determine which families are eligible to receive assistance from the unified cash assistance program.

The survey helps the organization to identify the poorest families, and those who have improved their living standards are removed from the aid list. New beneficiaries are then introduced to replace them.

Families who have not yet applied to the program can still register online via the NAF website (takaful.naf.gov.jo). The registration process will remain open until the end of 2023.
