Ministry monitors Jordanians in Sudan amid "security developments"

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has announced that it is keeping a close eye on Jordanians living in Sudan in light of the ongoing security developments in the country, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. اضافة اعلان

In a statement, the ministry's spokesperson Sinan Majali assured the public that the Jordanian embassy in Khartoum has set up an operations room to monitor any developments or requests for assistance from Jordanians in Sudan.

Embassy's database used to contact Jordanian citizens

The embassy is also utilizing its database to contact Jordanian citizens living in Sudan and ensure their safety.

The ministry has called on all Jordanians currently residing or visiting Sudan to exercise caution, avoid areas of tension, and follow any instructions issued by local authorities.
