Ministry allows import of frozen poultry

AMMAN — The Ministry of Agriculture on Tuesday allowed the import of frozen poultry from authorized institutions, while taking into consideration the veterinary health status published on the official website of the World Health Organization for Animal Health.اضافة اعلان

The ministry’s assistant secretary general for marketing in the Ministry, Hazem Al Smadi, said that the decision was issued in line with the local market needs for poultry to maintain safer levels of the strategic stock and achieve balance in the market.

Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Maha Ali, on Monday decided to lift the price cap on fresh and live chicken, leaving prices to be subject to the market’s supply and demand dynamics, under the ministry’s monitoring.
