Minister discusses labor issues with Qatar envoy

AMMAN — Minister of Labor Yousef Al-Shamali on Monday met with the Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani to discuss ways for enhancing and improving the Jordan-Qatar partnership in various areas, particularly labor, according to the Jordan News Agency Petra.اضافة اعلان

During the meeting, the minister reiterated the importance of bilateral cooperation and utilizing Jordanian expertise in Qatar, either during the 2022 World Cup in Doha, or in other fields. 

Shamali also stressed that Qatari-Jordanian relations are based on mutual respect and a common interest to develop them under His Majesty King Abdullah’s directives and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
