King congratulates Truss on appointment as British PM

AMMAN  — His Majesty King Abdullah has sent a letter to Liz Truss, expressing congratulations on her appointment as Prime Minister of the UK, according to a Royal Court statement. اضافة اعلان

In the letter, King Abdullah affirmed Jordan’s keenness to build on its strategic and historical ties with the United Kingdom, in the best interest of the two peoples and in service of peace and stability in the region and the world.

His Majesty wished Prime Minister Truss success, and the people of the UK continued prosperity and progress.
