Jordan records 937 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Thursday reached 14, according to The Ministry of Health, while a total of 937 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Thursday, bringing the death toll to 9,328 and the caseload to 728,549.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Thursday’s tally, the ministry said:

357 in Amman
86 in Irbid
165 in Zarqa
56 in Mafraq
65 in Balqa
36 in Maan
46 in Karak
39 in Ajloun
26 in Jerash
16 in Madaba
22 in Aqaba
23 in Tafileh

The ministry added in a statement that some 80 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 83 others were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 10,619, according to the ministry’s statement.

Around 3.56 percent of the 26,307 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
