Jordan records 920 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Tuesday reached 11, according to The Ministry of Health, while a total of 920 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to 9,395 and the caseload to 732,356.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Tuesday’s tally, the ministry said:

396 in Amman
149 in Irbid
161 in Zarqa
34 in Balqa
35 in Mafraq
12 in Ajloun
24 in Jerash
31 in Karak
51 in Maan
18 in Tafilah
12 in Aqaba
24 in Madaba

The ministry added in a statement that some 64 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 65 others were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 10,503, according to the ministry’s statement.

Around 4.11 percent of the 22,408 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
