Jordan records 11 deaths, 990 new cases Monday

The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Monday reached 11, while a total of 990 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,059 and the caseload to 772,743. اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Monday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 486 cases, while Zarqa recorded 156 cases.

Irbid registered 112 cases, while Balqa recorded 35 cases.

Karak recorded 26 cases, Jerash recorded 21 cases, while Tafileh recorded 35.

Madaba registered 17 cases, Aqaba 6, and Ajloun 27.

Mafraq registered 19 new cases, while Maan recorded 33 cases on Monday.

Ramtha recorded 6 cases and Petra recorded 11.

The ministry added in a statement that some 66 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 90 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 10,715, according to the Ministry of Health.
