Jordan records 11 COVID deaths Sunday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 11 new COVID-19 deaths Sunday and 987 new cases, bringing the total death toll to 10,680 and the total caseload to 819,783.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 441 cases, while Zarqa recorded 70 cases. Irbid registered 124 cases, while Balqa recorded 64 cases. Karak recorded 49 cases, Jerash recorded 45 cases, and Tafileh recorded 24. Madaba registered 10, Aqaba 39, and Ajloun 39.

The ministry said in a statement that some 58 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospital, while 61 new patients were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,399, the ministry said. Around 3.74 percent of the 26,390 COVID-19 tests that were conducted Sunday came back positive.
