Jordan condoles Indonesia for stadium tragedy

AMMAN — Jordan expressed its condolences and solidarity with Indonesia on Sunday, after more than 170 people were killed in a stampede and violence following a football match in Malang Regency, East Java, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement that it was extending its heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Indonesia for the victims of the accident. The stampede and subsequent riot between Arema and Persebaya Surabaya supporters resulted in at least 174 deaths and 180 injuries, according to news reports citing Indonesian officials.
