AMMAN — The Jordan Standards
and Metrology Organization (JSMO) in collaboration with the Public Security
Directorate identified an at home gas agency in Zarqa that it claims
manipulates gas, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

On Saturday, the spokesman of
JSMO, Salem Al-Jabour, said that all possible legal actions had been taken, and
that the manipulated cylinders had been seized.
Police received a tip that a
gas agency was allegedly tampering with its gas cylinders, and tracked the
suspects. An agency vehicle was seized, and JSMO inspectors found 16 gas cylinders
had been tampered with.
The organization called on the
public to report any suspected cases of gas cylinder manipulation through the
“Bekhedmetkom” app, on the JPMO’s Facepook page, or on the organization’s website.
