AMMAN — A
fight claimed the life of one person in Irbid Governorate on Monday evening,
according to a Public Security Directorate spokesperson.
The incident took
place in the Jifeen area and reportedly followed previous disputes between
those involved. Monday’s incident involved firearms, sharp tools, and sticks and
resulted in the death of a person in his 40s after he was hit by a bullet. A
number of injuries were also reported, according to the spokesperson.
