In its economic report titled “Recovery during the Pandemic,” published on Tuesday, the IMF expected Jordan’s economy to grow 3.1 percent in 2023. It also expected Middle East growth to hit 4.1 percent in 2022.

The report indicated the global economy is on an upward trajectory; however, the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed its progress, which led to lowering its expectation for global growth in 2022 from 5.9 percent to 4.9 percent.
