During its participation in deliberations of various committees, the delegation reviewed the comprehensive reform process that Jordan is implementing under His Majesty King Abdullah II's leadership and achievements made at various levels.

The delegation highlighted challenges facing Jordan due to various refuge crises, which requires international community's supports to Jordan to continue its humanitarian and moral role in this regard.

On legislation approved by Jordanian Parliament to achieve an "effective" party life and a parliament based on programmatic blocs, the delegation said Lower House has so far approved constitutional amendments and electoral and political parties laws to enhance role of youth and women in political life.

For their part, many PACE members commended Jordan's efforts, under its wise leadership towards humanity, commending its its ability to overcome challenges in an unstable conflict-ravaged region and stressed their welcome and continuity in supporting partnership with Jordan's Parliament.

Jordanian Parliament has been a partner for democracy with PACE since 2016.
