Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the soaring temperatures.

According to the JMD, the heat wave will be accompanied by a moderate northeasterly to northwesterly wind. As a result, direct exposure to sunlight can pose significant risks to individuals' health and well-being.

In light of the extreme weather conditions, the JMD has issued a = warning against leaving children unattended inside closed vehicles.

Additionally, the JMD emphasizes the importance of refraining from storing sanitizers, perfumes, and flammable materials inside vehicles during the heat wave. The elevated temperatures can cause such items to ignite or explode, leading to potential hazards and accidents.
