The Jordanian government has announced a series of future development projects in the capital governorate with a total value exceeding JD 749 million, to be implemented in partnership with the private sector through the Ministry of Investment, as part of the Economic Modernization Vision.اضافة اعلان

The projects span the infrastructure, water, education, and public services sectors, aiming to enhance the investment environment, create job opportunities, and improve service quality for citizens.

According to official data reviewed by Al-Mamlaka, the projects include:

Designing and constructing the Medical City Bridge, which will connect the Sweileh and Naour areas via a toll bridge, at an estimated cost of JD 460 million. The project is expected to be implemented between 2026 and 2030.

Rehabilitation of water networks in southern Amman to reduce water losses, with an estimated cost of JD 200 million for the period 2026–2028, also in partnership with the private sector.

Construction of a new municipal slaughterhouse for the Greater Amman Municipality in the Madouneh area, at a cost of JD 50 million, scheduled for 2026–2028.

Establishment of eight new public schools under a public-private partnership, at a cost of JD 33 million, during the same period.

Development of a specialized wastewater and industrial waste treatment plant at King Abdullah II Industrial City in Sahab, with an estimated cost of JD 6 million for the 2026–2028 period.
