The ministry’s secretary-general Dr Mamoun Al-Debie said that the ministry has informed the concerned universities of the withdrawal of their recognition after they failed to meet the international standards that it observes.

Debie called on students seeking to study abroad and their parents to review the ministry’s official website to ensure that the universities at which they plan to study are recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education before registration, to avoid obtaining unrecognized certificates.

The ministry asked students to deal only with the university offices it approves, which are listed on the ministry website at the following link: www.mohe.gov.jo.
