During the discussion of the Ministry's 2024 budget, Safadi responded to questions and highlighted Jordan's unwavering commitment to stopping the Israeli aggression. He emphasized the clear and direct involvement His Majesty King Abdullah from the outset.

Safadi stated that Jordan supports South Africa's call against Israel in the International Court of Justice, accusing Israel of genocide and violating the 1948 Genocide Convention. He noted ongoing legal preparations and coordination with Arab and Islamic countries.

Condemning Israel's blockade on humanitarian aid to Gaza as a blatant violation of international law and another war crime, Safadi emphasized that Jordan had undertaken airdrops of medical and humanitarian aid to Gaza. He also acknowledged the significant role played by Jordanian hospitals in serving the Palestinian population.

Affirming Jordan's historical support for the Palestinian people, Safadi stressed that Israel's aggression could not be justified as self-defense. He cautioned that Israel would not enjoy security and peace unless the Palestinians did.

Safadi acknowledged the unprecedented situation, noting that Jordan, as a UN member, feels above international law. He called for collective efforts against Israeli aggression and revealed Jordan's commitment to confronting the extremist agenda of the Israeli government.

Safadi expressed pride in Jordan's unified stance across government institutions, reflecting the historical support of the Jordanian people for the Palestinians.

He also highlighted that igniting the West Bank and Lebanon serves the Israeli government's agenda, prolonging its political leadership and pushing the region toward a regional war. Safadi warned that everyone would pay the price for disregarding international law and failing to curb this extremism.
