AMMAN — On Friday, the minister of investment, Khairy Amr, said that the Jordanian government is serious about organizing and improving the investment environment in the Kingdom, according to Al-Ghad News.

The remarks were made by Amr during the inauguration of the Jordanian investment forum, which was held as part of the Jordan’s National Day events in 2020 Dubai Expo.
The minister added that the government is working on improving the investment law to create an appealing investment environment.
The new law will address many previous challenges in the sector and will highlight the importance of partnership between the private and public sectors, according to Amr.
He added that in there will be continuous meetings with investors and Jordanian expats, the coming days, to introduce them to the best investment opportunities in the Kingdom, and to study their future aspirations towards investing in Jordan.
The minister stressed that all investors are welcome to visit the ministry to get the information that they need regarding the investment environment and the investment opportunities in Jordan.
