A meeting between the Jordan
Center for Disease Control (JCDC) and the CRDF
Global took place on Tuesday for discussions on the “Progress Review of the
Response to Corona virus in Jordan” report, according to a press statement.

The meeting
focused on the highlights of the report, which touched on all the measures
taken in Jordan since the beginning of the pandemic.
All stakeholders,
who implemented the adopted measures to deal with the pandemic, were included
in the report.
The center is keen
to draw on all domestic and international experiences and expertise in response
to the pandemic, specifically the Coronavirus, to build on what has been
achieved from positive accomplishments and develop and address weaknesses, if
any, said JCDC Head Raaeda Al-Qutub.
She said that
Jordan’s experience in responding to the COVID-19 virus has been advanced. The
report highlights the lessons learned from the Jordanian experience.
She stressed that
the center receives a copy of the report thoroughly incorporating its
recommendations into the center’s interventions, which will strengthen and
develop Jordan’s capacities and enable it to respond to any future epidemic
outbreak, or pandemic.
