DoS begins 2023 Population and Family Health Survey

AMMAN — The Department of Statistics (DoS) launched the 2023 Population and Family Health Survey on Monday to gather data about the health sector.اضافة اعلان

The DoS called on the public to “cooperate fully” with the department's field teams, verifying their identity before providing any information.

In a press statement, the department said that field teams will carry out anemia tests on all women in the age group of 15–49 years, in addition to children under the age of five.

The weight and height of the two groups will also be measured for inclusion in the survey data.

The department stressed that all data provided by those surveyed is confidential, and that cooperation with the field teams is "a major factor for the success of the survey".
