AMMAN — A Cabinet session headed by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh approved the mandating reasons for the Aqaba Marine Reserve Project for the year 2022, Al-Mamlaka TV reported. اضافة اعلان

The draft bylaw, approved in a Cabinet meeting Sunday, sets the ground establishing the Aqaba Marine Reserve Project as an alternative to the Aqaba Marine Park. The bylaws also oversee regulations to organize the reserve’s functions and management, setting its boundaries, and institutionalizing its executive procedures.

The Cabinet also approved a project for sustainable fodder production in Wadi Araba to expand fodder crops grown in the region.

The move will contribute to the development of the local community in the Wadi Araba, raise the efficiency and productivity of livestock, reduce the shortage of fodder available to breeders, and benefit from the output through the rehabilitation of the badia’s wild ecosystem in a sustainable manner.
