AMMAN —
The 14 edition of the
Amman Summer Festival activities are slated to begin on
August 11, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The festival,
organized by the
Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), will continue through August
20. Entry is free of charge.
The festival’s
cultural, artistic, and entertainment evenings will be held at the Roman
Amphitheater on the event’s first and second days, while the rest of the
activities will take place at Al-Hussein Public Park.
GAM invited
people to attend the festival, whose program is to be announced in the next few
days, and it will include a specific area for children, and an area to display
traditional products, handicrafts, and food.
The festival aims at
promoting tourism activity with the aim of adding a destination for tourists in
Amman, and provide a joyful atmosphere for Jordanians and visitors to Jordan.
It will also promote the concept of good citizenship by spreading positive and
awareness messages through dramatic performances for adults and children.
