Al-Safadi Affirms Jordan’s Support for Measures Taken by Gulf and Islamic Nations to Protect Their Security
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Al-Safadi, participated Wednesday evening in a consultative ministerial meeting hosted by Saudi Arabia to discuss Iranian aggressions against several countries in the region.اضافة اعلان

The meeting was held at the invitation of Saudi Foreign Minister HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan, with the participation of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Bahrain, Turkey, Syria, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt, and the Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, Al-Safadi renewed Jordan's absolute solidarity with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Islamic nations facing Iranian attacks. Jordan condemns these acts as unjustified aggressions that represent a flagrant violation of international law and state sovereignty.

Al-Safadi affirmed the Kingdom's full support for all measures taken by these countries to protect their security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens. He also expressed appreciation for the brothers' solidarity with Jordan in confronting Iranian aggressions.

Joint Statement Highlights
A joint statement was issued following the meeting, in which the participants:

Demanded that Iran immediately cease its aggressions.

Called for respect for international law, international humanitarian law, and the principles of good neighborliness as a first step toward de-escalation.

Emphasized the activation of diplomacy as the primary path to resolving crises.

Stressed that the future of relations with Iran depends on respecting the sovereignty of states, non-interference in internal affairs, and refraining from using or developing military capabilities to threaten regional countries.
