The project, implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, covers a total area of 760 square meters, with a cost exceeding 600,000 Jordanian dinars. The building consists of several floors, including modern administrative offices, fully equipped facilities serving both plant and animal sectors, and agricultural extension services. It also features training halls dedicated to conducting extension programs and workshops for farmers, following the concept of environmentally friendly green buildings.

Engineer Bilal Al-Hlul, Director of Tafilah Agriculture Directorate, stated that the building was designed according to sustainable and energy-efficient standards, in line with the Ministry of Agriculture’s long-term plans to improve the work environment and raise the quality of agricultural services across governorates.

He added that the project will enhance the directorate’s ability to implement agricultural programs and projects more efficiently and with higher quality by providing suitable infrastructure and modern facilities that meet the needs of employees and visitors, supporting efforts to develop the agricultural sector in the governorate.

Al-Hlul also highlighted that the Ministry places significant importance on such projects, as they serve as a key driver for sustainable agricultural development, improving extension and technical services provided to farmers, positively impacting agricultural production and food security in Tafilah.
