158 school projects under implementation — Education Ministry

AMMAN – Director of the Buildings and Projects Department at the Ministry of Education Ibrahim Al-Samama said that 158 number school projects are currently being implemented, according to Ammon news.اضافة اعلان

Samama said on Tuesday that school projects are funded by international or local bodies, or through governorate councils, adding that last year the ministry built 55 new schools, 70 classroom additions and 65 kindergartens, a total of 190 school buildings.

He stressed that school projects under implementation are supervised by specialized engineering offices and implemented by Jordanian contractors, adding that the Buildings and Projects Department at the Ministry of Education and the Buildings Department at the Ministry of Public Works and Housing are following up on implementation.

He stressed that the projects that have been implemented and those under implementation are carried out according to the highest international standards, which contributes to improving the quality of the educational process.
