15% of vehicles checked prepared for winter — Traffic Department

AMMAN — Some 15 percent of the 124,000 vehicles the Traffic Department has checked as part of a winter preparedness campaign are ready for the season, according to the director of the Traffic Department, Firas Al-Soub.اضافة اعلان

The campaign checks vehicles’ ability to deal with weather conditions such as rain and snow.

Those with violations are given one week to correct violations without incurring penalties, Soub told Al-Wakeel news.

The director added that people can send a message via WhatsApp to (0770999030) if they have any complaints or observations regarding the traffic campaign.
